Scute Dispersions

In my newest work, the Scute Dispersions, I am exploring theories of color, ancient and recent, in hopes of formulating something new. The turtle, my most beloved motif, once again provides a flexible and suitable template for the project. I am reserving the shapes located on the turtle's plastron (it's underside) for future works utilizing my own, more speculative theories of color.
